LORETTA LYNN HOSPITALIZED WITH PNEUMONIA

Country star Loretta Lynn was forced to cancel a pair of concerts this weekend because she is in the hospital."Doctors have diagnosed her as [having] the beginning stages [of] pneumonia,". The 76-year-old singer of “Coal Miner’s Daughter” and “Don’t Come Home A’Drinkin’ (With Lovin’ On Your Mind)” is in the early stages of pneumonia and according to her doctors requires rest.

The hospital stint forced her to cancel shows in Ashland, Kentucky and Durham, North Carolina, though she doesn’t expect to be down for long. “Loretta is doing well and is disappointed but feels confident she will be ready for upcoming November dates,” said the site.This isn’t the first time this year Lynn has had to postpone performances because of health issues.

Before that, the Kentucky native returned to live performances with a show at the Grand Ole Opry after being forced to cancel shows in Ohio and Connecticut because she was hospitalized for heat exhaustion.

LINDSAY LOHAN COMPLETES FIRST MORGUE DUTY

LADY GAGA PERFORM AT EUROPE MUSIC AWARDS

American pop stars Lady Gaga and Bruno Marswill will be performing at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Northern Ireland next month.. This will be the singer’s first ever appearance on the award ceremony.

The music channel will be taking over the city of Belfast on Nov. 6 for its annual ceremony, and for the first time the MTV Europe Music Awards will be held in three different locations.

Gaga is up for Best Pop, Best Female and Best Live act while her multi-platinum single “Born This Way” is nominated for Best Song and Best Video.

The singer’s devoted fan base scored her an extra nod in the brand new Biggest Fans category.

Gaga and Mars will join Coldplay, Jessie J and LMFAO in performing at the Odyssey Arena. The Red Hot Chili Peppers will be playing at Ulster Hall, while Snow Patrol and Jason Derulo will be on stage at City Hall.

ZACHARY QUINTO: I'M GAY

In the new issue of New work magazine, Star Trek and Heroes star Zachary Quinto comes out of the closet, proclaiming: I'm a gay man.

In the interview he say's "as a gay man, it made me feel like there's still so much work to be done, and there's still so many things that need to be looked at and addressed."

Later in the interview, when the topic changes to legalizing gay marriage and the suicide of bullied gay teen Jamey Rodemeyer, the actor once again refers to himself as a "gay man." He says that when it comes to the different rights and treatment that come with being homosexual, "there's a hopelessness that surrounds it."

The star of Star Trek and TV's Heroes had long refused to comment about his sexuality, though he has been an outspoken supporter of bully victims and has played a number of gay roles,

He also spoke with the magazine about the fact that in the same year gay marriage was legalized in New York. 

 he said. "But as a human being I look at it and say 'Why? Where's this disparity coming from, and why can't we as a culture and society dig deeper to examine that?' We're terrified of facing ourselves."
