Michael Lewis is a non-fiction author and financial journalist.  Now He is an editor to Vanity Fair. His nationality is American and he was born in New Orleans, to corporate lawyer J. Thomas Lewis and community activist Diana Monroe Lewis, LA in October 15, 1960. He attended into the college preparatory “Isidore Newman School” in New Orleans. He graduated from Princeton university with a BA in Art History and was a member of the Ivy Club. And in 1985 he received his master's degree from the London School of Economics. He was hired by Salomon Brothers as a bond salesman and then He went to New York for training. Several months later Lewis returned to London and spent the next three years he worked to Salomon's well-heeled clientele. In 1989 when published Liar's Poker, remains one of the best written and most perceptive chronicles of investment banking. And become a financial journalist.

Lewis worked for the New York Times Magazine as a columnist. In 2010 at National Book Awards in an interview, Tom Wolfe called Michael Lewis one of two “writers to watch”.

Michael Lewis's first marriage was to Diane de Cordova Lewis and then he married to a CNN reporter called Tabitha soren on October 4, 1997. Lewis and his wife Tabitha Soren currently live in Berkeley, CA. Together they have two daughters and one son, Quinn, Dixie and Walker.
